After two latest deaths, anglers reflect on dangers of Pillar Point Harbor
Mercury News
At Gospel Chinese Christian Church in Milpitas, members bearing platters of noodles and turkey for the annual Thanksgiving potluck, expecting a celebration, were stunned when church elders instead delivered the terrible news. Tien, 47, and Hsu, 45, were among the most active and beloved members in a church that Tien's father, the Rev. James Tien, had founded decades ago. A memorial service for both men is planned for 9 a.m. Sunday at Gospel Chinese Christian Church, 137 Dempsey Way in Milpitas. In lieu of flowers, the families and church request donations to charities of the donor's choice. For more information call (408) 935-8477.
